The Saudi King’s Cup 2025-26 season has already started, with many top clubs in Saudi Arabia hoping to win the competition. Al-Ittihad won it last season.

The ‘His Majesty’s Cup’, sometimes referred to as the King Cup, came into existence in 1957 and continued to be held every year until 1990.

The Saudi Pro League’s top six finishers, as well as the champions of the Saudi Federation Cup and the Saudi Crown Prince Cup, participated in the competition when it was revived in 2008 under the new name King Cup of Champions.

The competition is dominated by Al-Hilal, who have lifted the trophy nine times in their history. Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad are the recent champions (2024-25) of the tournament.

The competition is again active. Half of the round of 32 matches have already taken place, and we still have a few fixtures to be played. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr will take on Al Jeddah on Tuesday night.
