Where and how to watch Saudi Pro League 2024-25 in India?

The new season of SPL is underway!

For sponsorship purposes, the Saudi Pro League is also called the Roshn Saudi League. It is the top-tier league in the Saudi football system and a professional association football league in Saudi Arabia. The SPL, which has the highest position among AFC club competitions, is considered Asia’s finest football league.

Al-Hilal have won a record 19 titles, making it the most successful club in Saudi football history. Their most recent victory came in the 2023–24 season. Other notable teams that have made significant contributions to the league’s history include Al-Shabab, Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr.

Thanks to strategic advancements made possible by the Saudi Vision 2030 project, the SPL has gained more international attention since 2023.

In order to lure stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, and Karim Benzema to the league, the country’s Public Investment Fund invested a significant sum of money to purchase 75% of the shares in four founding clubs: Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, and Al-Nassr. The SPL is now more well-known in the world of football because of their initiatives.

The format will remain the same for the upcoming season. In a round-robin format, eighteen teams will compete, and the team with the most points at the end will be declared the winner. There will be 34 games for each team.

In India, the Saudi Pro League 2025–26 will be broadcast live and streamed.

In India, the Sony Sports 2 and Sony Sports 5 TV stations used to broadcast live coverage of the SPL games, along with SonyLiv doing the streaming.

However, this time, from the 2025-26 season onwards, FanCode have the exclusive rights to live stream the Saudi Pro League games. The service requires a subscription or match pass and is not free.
