Linkin Park are an American rock band.

The UEFA Champions League final is around the corner and is set to be played at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, tonight. Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are ready to battle it out for the mega prize.

The American-based rock band Linkin Park are all set to perform during the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League final kick-off show. They are one of the most prominent rock bands from the last 25 years. Linkin Park continue to spread the magic with their majestic music.

They have performed on numerous occasions and in different sports events. They recently performed at an e-sports event, “League of Legends World Championship 2024”, where they also debuted the theme song of the tournament.

Who are Champions League final performers – Linkin Park, opening song & what’s their legacy?

Link Park was founded in 1996 in California. They have dropped some of the great music tracks over the years like “In the End”, “Numb”, etc. Hybrid Theory was their debut album.

Linkin Park have just grown after that. The main vocals were given by Chester Bennington, and Mike Shinoda did the rapping.

Their current lineup consists of Mike Shinoda (Lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Brad Delson (Guitar), Joe Hahn (Turntables), Dave Farrell (Bass), Emily Armstrong (Vocals), and Colin Brittain (Drums).

Linkin Park and UEFA have already announced that the band will come up with a performance where they will go with a different remix of “Numb”. The remix will have the sounds of the game in it.

“We wanted to put our spin on it and do something based around the sounds of football. It’s built on the sounds of the foot hitting the ball, the ball hitting the net, the fans stomping in the seats. These are the things that, when I’ve been to a match, strike you as the powerful musical elements of being there,” Shinoda said when he was interviewed by UEFA ahead of the Champions League mega event.

One of the members of Linkin Park, Dave Farrell, is the biggest football fan in the group. He has coached his daughters, which helped him to fall in love with the game.
