Which manager has won most Champions League titles?

The most successful manager in UCL history is not Zinedine Zidane.
Every European season culminates with the Champions League title, where elite teams and managers compete for the coveted trophy.
The competition’s format was changed in 1992 and it was named the Champions League. Real Madrid have dominated both the European Cup and the Champions League.
Los Blancos has a long history of winning the Champions League and European Cup. Seven managers have shared that honour with the team.
Several of the most recognisable football coaches, like Carlo Ancelotti, are on the list of UCL title-winning managers. Sir Alex Ferguson, Pep Guardiola, Bob Paisley and Zinedine Zidane have also won the Champions League with their respective clubs.
In the 2023-24 season, Ancelotti had another opportunity to win it. His team Real Madrid overcame first-half setbacks to defeat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Wembley in the final.
Which manager has the most Champions League trophies?
Madrid’s spirited victory over Dortmund in London helped cement Carlo Ancelotti’s status as the competition’s most successful coach in history.
Ancelotti won his third Champions League championship with Real Madrid and his fifth overall as a manager. Under him in 2022, Real Madrid defeated Liverpool in Paris. No other coach has ever won more than three in their career.
Ancelotti won his first title in 2003. The manager also suffered defeat in the final after two years in ‘Miracle of Istanbul’ against Liverpool. He got his revenge on Liverpool in the 2007 final with AC Milan.
Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane and Pep Guardiola currently have the same number of UCL titles (3). The Frenchman has won all three with Real Madrid while Guardiola has secured two with Barcelona and one with Manchester City.
Bob Paisley is another manager who has won three Champions League titles. In the below table, we have mentioned the top managers with the most Champions League trophies.
