Which Real Madrid players have won the Ballon d'Or?

Los Blancos have had many prominent players who went on to win the Ballon d’Or.
Real Madrid are one of the most undisputed clubs in football, that have achieved everything since it was established. They are one of the few football teams in the world with as many elite players who have achieved legendary status in the world.
Before they signed with Los Blancos, Zinedine Zidane, Michael Owen, and Kaka had already won the Ballon d’Or, but several all-time greats cemented their legacy at the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid and their rivals Barcelona share the record of having 12 players to win the Ballon d’Or. However, an unprecedented eight different Madrid players have taken home the Ballon d’Or.
The first Los Blancos player to bring the prize to the club was legendary Alfredo Di Stefano, who won the award twice, first in 1957 and then in 1959. He is still unquestionably the most significant player in Los Blancos’ illustrious past and is rightfully considered one of the best forwards in the history of the sport. He continues to be the gold standard for brilliance, which is extremely noteworthy for a team of the calibre of Real Madrid.
After him, many big players such as Luis Figo and Cristiano Ronaldo cemented their place in the club’s history. Ronaldo meanwhile, was the record-breaking winner for the Spanish capital side as he created history after winning the prize four times with the club, the most by any player for Real Madrid.
After Ronaldo departed the club in 2019 only two Real Madrid players have gone on to win the award. But their players continue to be nominated for the award every year. Now another of their star Vinicius Jr is one of the favourites to win the 2024 award.
