Who could become first player to start & win all three major UEFA competition finals today?

Mkhitaryan is yet to win the UEFA Champions League trophy in his career.
If Inter Milan beat Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final in Munich, Henrikh Mkhitaryan of Inter will become the sole player to play and win the finals in all three of UEFA’s current men’s club tournaments.
The 36-year-old Armenian midfielder played for Manchester United in their 2016–17 UEFA Europa League triumph. Henrikh Mkhitaryan was also a member of the AS Roma squad that won the UEFA Conference League in 2021–2022.
Brazilian left-back Emerson was close to becoming the first player to play in all the UEFA competition finals and win it. He appeared for Chelsea in their 2018–19 Europa League victory but was a substitute when the Blues won the 2020–21 Champions League final.
He then participated in West Ham’s victory in the Conference League final in 2022–2023. No player has yet played for a winning club in all three finals.
The Italian international, who was born in Brazil, had a key role in both the Europa League and Conference League championships. However, he did not participate in the Champions League final and only played a supporting role in Chelsea’s 2020–21 Champions League victory.
When Henrikh Mkhitaryan netted in Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over Ajax in the 2016–17 season, his European form took off. Manchester United won their first-ever Europa League championship in that season.
Recently, he won the UEFA Europa Conference League with AS Roma in 2022, another UEFA competition. In the game, Roma defeated Feyenoord 1-0 in the inaugural season of the league.
The 36-year-old Armenian has had a lengthy and illustrious career with teams including Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Arsenal, Roma, and now Inter Milan. He has had several chances to win a good number of tournaments because of this.
Now, Henrikh Mkhitaryan would become the first player to win all three UEFA competition medals while participating in each final if he starts for Inter as anticipated and leads the Italian team to the UCL 2024-25 trophy.
On May 31, 2025, Inter Milan will play Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final at Munich’s Allianz Arena. A victory for Inter would immortalise Henrikh Mkhitaryan in addition to giving the team its fourth Champions League title.
