Who is the fastest player to reach 200 FPL points in a season?

Salah has been in the form of his life for Liverpool this season.

Mohamed Salah (£13.6m) scored 200 points in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) in an unprecedented amount of time.

Liverpool’s star winger broke the previous record by an astounding SIX Gameweeks, reaching the Fantasy milestone in just half a season.

Given that Salah has reached his double-century in just 18 games although his Gameweek 15 match against Everton was postponed, his accomplishment is all the more remarkable.

After scoring 303 points in 2017–18, he owns the all-time record for the most FPL points in a season, and he is now two-thirds of the way to shattering it.

Beyond that, Salah wants to surpass Wayne Rooney’s all-time point total of 2,338. But, doing so would surely need signing a new deal with Liverpool and remaining in the Premier League next summer.

At this stage in his career, Liverpool’s lucky charm has 1,977 points. 47 different players have scored 200 points or more in an entire campaign since Fantasy Premier League started in 2002–03.

Salah has accomplished this the most times, with 2024–25 Fantasy marking his eighth time. Frank Lampard, who reached the historic total six times, comes in second on the list. But Salah’s exceptional consistency is what’s really impressive.

He has not only surpassed a double-century of points for the eighth consecutive season, but it is also the eighth successive season, which doubles the next-best player’s longest streak. Salah achieved his most recent milestone at one of his favourite hunting stadiums.

In Sunday’s 16-point victory over West Ham United on the road, he scored and provided two assists to earn a portion of the bonus points. He has now scored 69 points and four double-figure hauls in seven matches at the London Stadium.

Meanwhile, he has continued to put a dominant display week in and week out for the Reds and has currently contributed 36 goals in 25 matches across all competition this season already.
