Nathaniel Brown was born on June 16, 2003, in Amberg, Germany. He played for multiple youth academies, including TSV Kümmersbruck, Jahn Regensburg and 1. FC Nürnberg before coming to notice.
He made his professional debut during the 2022-23 season. He signed a contract with Nürnberg in 2022 and since then, his performances have quickly attracted attention. Brown then made a move to Eintracht Frankfurt in 2024. He became the first-choice left back for the Eagles after his top performances during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.
Nathaniel Brown had 10 goal contributions in 42 matches for Frankfurt in the recent campaign. His fast pace and attacking intent ultimately helped him seal a spot in the German national football team in October 2025. He was also eligible to play for USA, but only prioritised Germany.
The 22-year-old has now scored his debut goal in the FIFA World Cup. He scored to help his side extend the lead against debutants Curacao during the 2026 edition of the mega competition.
The left-back is set to join Bayern Munich from Eintracht for a reported €55m fee in the summer transfer window.
