The Galatasaray forward has been included in the final roster by Julian Nagelsmann.

The Germany national football team are all ready to battle it out at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The final 26-man contingent has been announced and some of the top stars have also been included.

Julian Nagelsmann is the head coach of the DFB Team. He will be heading to his first-ever World Cup as a manager. Currently, his tactics are working fine for the team, but leading Germany on the grandest stage of them all is not going to be an easy task.

The fans are expecting top-of-the-line performances from Julian Nagelsmann’s men. This is going to be a tough test for them after getting eliminated from the group stages during the 2018 and 2022 editions of the mega competition.

Joshua Kimmich is going to wear the captain’s armband and will play a major role in controlling the midfield for the Germany national football team. In-form Deniz Undav will be one of the workhorses in the attacking front alongside the Premier League winner Kai Havertz. The Arsenal forward must stay fit to compete on the World Stage.

Leroy Sane was named in Germany’s final 26-man squad. The head coach has a reason for calling him up.

Julian Nagelsmann said, “His numbers at club level weren’t high enough. With us, he’s racked up five goal contributions in the last four games. Of course, I also have to assess his performance for the national team.”

The Galatasaray forward will be looking to step up his game so that he can help his side in the final third. He can score goals and create plays, which makes him a crucial asset in the lineup. The 30-year-old has surely underperformed for his club, but his performances for the DFB Team were enough for Nagelsmann to call him up for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
