Los Blancos vs Los Ches could be moved to a different date after a storm hit the Valencia province.

Following devastating flooding in the Spanish city, Valencia’s LaLiga match against Real Madrid on Saturday could be postponed, according to sources.

Valencia was hit by flash floods on Tuesday, and it has been revealed that the DANA tragedy has claimed the lives of over 50 people.

The Copa del Rey match between Valencia and Parla Escuela was supposed to take place tonight, but it has been postponed.

According to Spanish publication Relevo, there is a “real possibility” that the match against Carlo Ancelotti’s Madrid this weekend could also be postponed.

The game on Saturday might be moved to a later date because of the ongoing situation. Carlos Mazon, the president of the Valencian administration, is scheduled to announce a period of formal mourning in the area after the floods are finished. Meanwhile, the reports suggest that there has been no damage done to Valencia’s home, the Mestalla.

After being totally inundated on Tuesday, the city’s airport is also functioning more normally on Wednesday, albeit it’s still challenging to enter Valencia.

“The @valenciacf wants to offer his most profound condolences to the relatives and friends of those who died due to the #DANA. RIP,” Valencia said in a statement posted Wednesday morning.

”Much strength to all the affected residents and communities and to the groups that are working on prevention and the consequences of the effects of the storm.”

”The Club reiterates that we are available to the authorities and municipalities affected to help in any way possible.’‘

“Real Madrid C. F., the club’s president and the Board of Directors would like to extend their condolences to the families and loved ones of the people who have lost their lives as a result of the storm that has hit many areas of our country, especially in the provinces of Valencia and Albacete,” the club’s official website read in response to the tragedy.

”Real Madrid is deeply saddened and expresses its solidarity with all the people affected by this catastrophe, to whom it conveys all its full support and sympathy.’‘
