The forward won’t sign shirts for free anymore.
Lamine Yamal’s popularity on and off the field has only increased exponentially ever since his debut. At the age of 18, he is the most talented young player in the sport. Meanwhile, it’s usually an age where other players barely get game time for the first team.
However, Yamal has already made over 100 appearances for LaLiga giants FC Barcelona. He is now their most influential player on the pitch. In contrast, even Lionel Messi wasn’t as impactful a player as Yamal at that age.
Yamal’s sensational rise in sport also has its consequences; positive ones. Fans line up to get his autographs and hope for photos with him.
Lamine Yamal won’t sign autographs for free anymore

Fans always want to get a glimpse of the talented player who has become a global football star with his innate qualities on the pitch. However, in a recent report, Yamal’s autographs might now come with a cost.
The Barcelona player has stopped signing shirts and autographs, not because of arrogance, but with an exclusive deal through which his signature will be available only through official paid channels.
According to the sources, Lamine Yamal doesn’t sign autographs anymore at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper following advice from his management. The decision comes after his connection with a company that specialises in selling signed memorabilia from top sports stars.
The idea is to turn Lamine Yamal’s autograph into a commercial property. Now, objects such as jerseys, boots, and merchandise with Yamal’s autograph will have to be bought by interested fans from the stores. It readily turns the rising star’s autograph into a valuable asset.
At the club, Lamine Yamal still greets fans whenever he arrives and leaves for training, but doesn’t sign shirts or autographs. Moreover, Barcelona are also discussing with the agency to have limited autographs for institutional commitments and special events.
This might not receive positive feedback from fans who tend to wait for the players, usually for long hours, just to get an autograph from them.
Why won’t Yamal sign free autographs anymore?
He has signed an agreement with a company that will sell his autographs for a price.
What will the company sell?
It will sell signed memorabilia from the Barcelona star.
Where will his autographs be used?
Jerseys, boots, and merchandise will have Yamal’s autograph on them.
