Why Mikel Arteta could potentially miss Arsenal's last game of Premier League 2023-24 season?

The Gunners are currently top of the Premier League table
Mikel Arteta’s potential absence from Arsenal’s season-ending match against Everton could deal a potentially devastating blow to their hopes of winning the title. Arsenal and Manchester City’s race for the championship is extremely close.
With just two games remaining, the Gunners sit one point ahead of City despite having played one extra game. They are hoping that one of their title opponents will make a mistake.
Every little thing matters, and the last thing anyone wants is to have their manager absent from one of the most important games in the club’s history.
But depending on how Arteta performs in their penultimate matchup against Manchester United, that might actually happen for Arsenal.
The Spaniard currently holds five yellow cards, and he is going to be suspended for one match if he receives one more.
Being suspended, Arteta already has missed one game, which was their 1-0 loss to Aston Villa on the road in December.

Mikel Arteta has the worst discipline track of any Premier League manager
With five yellow cards for the current campaign, Arteta has the worst discipline track of any Premier League manager. He received yellow cards in both of Arsenal’s matches against Chelsea as well as against Fulham, Brighton and Luton.
The manager of Arsenal is well-known for his fervent touchline theatrics. Declan Rice went down on the sidelines and walked onto the field to score Arsenal’s winning goal against Luton in the 97th minute, and that’s when he received one of his bookings. Referee Samuel Barrott’s card was the reason Arteta was suspended for the Aston Villa match.
But Pep Guardiola’s team is so good that even Arsenal’s outstanding play hasn’t been enough to stop them from pulling away. Arsenal sit on top of the league table but Guardiola’s team has one game in hand and will be looking to be the first team in history to win four succesive Premier League titles.
