Alexander Isak 'happy and proud' after Liverpool transfer

The Swedish forward, Alexander Isak, has been out of action for the Reds since December 2025.

Liverpool FC are all set to visit the Parc des Princes for their first leg quarterfinal outing of the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League against PSG. This will be an entertaining clash between these clubs.

The Reds are on a poor run of form at the moment and will be under pressure for their upcoming contest. Manchester City thrashed them in the FA Cup quarterfinal. Arne Slot’s men didn’t put in much effort, which led to a poor performance.

Liverpool will be the visiting side for their upcoming UEFA Champions League fixture, and this will only make things difficult for them. The Premier League side must give their all here if they want to proceed to the next stage of the European competition.

Paris Saint-Germain at Parc des Princes might not let the Reds take many chances, and this will only make conditions worse for them. The visitors do have a squad of good players, but they are not in their top form at the moment.

The 26-year-old has been named in the travelling squad for Liverpool. But after sitting out for four months, he might not start here. Alexander Isak could come in as a substitute and will be eager to put up a top performance here.

He has just scored three goals across all competitions for his club this season. Isak failed to display top performances because of limited play time on the field.

Hugo Ekitike and Mohamed Salah are not in top form either. They also need to step up here as Liverpool will be in for a tough challenge. PSG, on the other hand, are in good form at the moment and will be looking to secure a win.
