Barcola missed the first leg due to injury.

Before Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) UEFA Champions League match against Liverpool, manager Luis Enrique gave an update on Bradley Barcola.

The Parisians are in excellent form heading into the match. They have won five straight games, kept clean sheets in their past three away games, and scored in every away game since the start of the season.

Now they head into the second leg with great assurance after cruising to a 2-0 win against the Reds at home in the first leg.

PSG will be looking to defend the lead at Anfield, and are aware it won’t be easy. However, they have received positive news with the return of a key star player for the return leg.

Will Bradley Barcola play tonight?

Bradley Barcola, a forward for Paris St. Germain, has been included in the squad for their second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Liverpool, the Ligue 1 team said on Monday.

After sustaining a severe ankle ligament injury during the Champions League last-16 second leg against Chelsea, the France international was out for a month.

Barcola missed France’s friendly games against Brazil and Colombia in the United States, as well as PSG’s last three games in all competitions.

The defending champions lead 2-0 going into the second leg at Anfield tonight. During his pre-game press conference on Monday afternoon, Enrique stated:

“He’s (Bradley Barcola) been out three weeks and has been working hard to get back and we’ll have to see how he’s feeling today. It’s important for us to get players back.”

However, the forward has just returned from injury, so it’s unlikely he will start the game for Enrique. The coach is likely to prefer Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on the left, who also scored a goal in the first leg.
