Zidane has been linked with a move to Bayern job
Zinedine Zidane, former head coach of Real Madrid, has ruled out coaching Bayern Munich, stating that he will be supporting Los Blancos in their forthcoming Champions League match.
Zidane witnessed the sprint event at the Miami International Autodrome during the Miami Grand Prix on Saturday.
Max Verstappen of Red Bull won the pole place for the main race on Sunday, besting Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc. Zidane gave the Dutch racer on the podium a prize after the race.
During the event, Zidane was asked about the possibility of coaching Bayern Munich, to which he said, “No, it will not happen,” as quoted by Madrid Xtra.
“I’m going to watch the game, I will cheer for Real Madrid and hopefully Real Madrid will win. It will be a difficult game,” he added.
It should be mentioned that Zidane, 51, has not served as a manager of a team since leaving Real Madrid in 2021.

Although he has not yet had official talks with Bayern Munich or Manchester United, he has been speculated to be under consideration for managerial posts at both clubs.
Nonetheless, there were whispers that he would take charge of the French national team following France’s defeat to Argentina in the 2022 World Cup final.
But when Didier Deschamps’ deal was extended to June 2026, such rumours came to an end.
In order to succeed Thomas Tuchel at the end of the current campaign, Bayern Munich is now searching for a new head coach.
In its search for the ideal applicant, the club has encountered a number of challenges, though. Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann, and Ralf Rangnick are just a few of the renowned coaches who have declined to take charge of the group.
Bayern is now in a difficult situation as they look for a capable successor to Tuchel, as their attempts to find a new manager have been hindered.
