The Saudi side will face Al Shabab in the league game.
Cristiano Ronaldo returned to training with Al-Nassr for their next Saudi Pro League game against Al Shabab. The former Real Madrid forward was on duty with the national team in the UEFA Nations League.
Ronaldo had a goal to his name against Poland, taking his tally to 906 career goals an astonishing mark in his football career. The 39-year-old will be looking to add more goals when his side take on Al Shabab.
Al-Nassr are third in the Saudi Pro League table. They will have to pick up the pace if they are to challenge for the title as Al-Hilal are top of the table with 18 points. Ronaldo will be motivated to lead his team to win and cut the gap (four points from the top). However, given he has returned from international break will he be in the starting lineup to face Al Shabab?
Will Ronaldo start tonight for Al-Nassr?
Ronaldoās fitness is unmatched. The striker will be looking to play against Al Shabab tonight as he aims to lead Al-Nassr to a crucial win.
The former Man United player had a mixed performance for Portugal despite scoring for them in the 3-1 win against Poland. The 39-year-old had a below-par performance against Scotland as he failed to score and the game concluded in a 0-0 draw.
Al-Nassr wonāt risk keeping the Portuguese on the bench as they know how crucial he is in these big moments. He poses a goalscoring threat to the opposition with his excellent box presence. We can expect him to start tonight as he will be eager to lead their attacking line and increase his goal tally.
He will be needed in this match as Al-Nassr are already third in the table and they will have to pick themselves up if they are to fight for the title. Ronaldo who boasts excellent experience in front of the goal will be looking to play the match.
