At 40 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo is still a key member of the Portugal national team and the club, Al Nassr.
In Matchday 11 of the 2025–26 Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo’s next match is set for tonight, December 30, when Al Nassr travel to Al Ettifaq. After defeating Al Okhdood 3-0 in the last SPL match, the team are now set for their final match of the year.
The legendary Portuguese player has contributed three assists and 12 goals in 10 league games for Al Nassr so far this season.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been rested for the entirety of Al Nassr’s AFC Champions League Two group stage campaign so far, but he has not missed any league action. He returned to action against Al Akhdoud last week and recorded a brace to strengthen his side’s hold at the top of the table.
With the last game of 2025 to play tonight, Ronaldo will be looking to make an impact and increase his goal tally when Al-Nassr play Al Ettifaq.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight vs Al Ettifaq?
It’s unlikely that Cristiano Ronaldo will play tonight as the striker was not pictured in training and travelling with the team, which could mean that he might be rested ahead of the game.
Al-Nassr have fared brilliantly this season under new manager Jorge Jesus and remain top of the SPL table. Meanwhile, Ronaldo maintained his terrific form, netting 12 goals in the league. However, he has not missed any league games as he looks determined to win the league title.
Tonight, Al-Nassr will play their last game of the year, while Ronaldo is expected to be out of the squad, given that he will have a hectic 2026 with the World Cup set to happen in the summer.
