Due to his dissatisfaction with certain parts of the league’s management, the 41-year-old declined to play for Al-Nassr in their last Saudi Pro League match against Al Riyadh on Monday.
According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo is dissatisfied with the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia’s ownership of the team because he feels that other teams run by the same fund are given preference in the transfer market.
Haydeer Abdulkareem has been Al-Nassr’s single addition, whereas Kader Meite and Karim Benzema were notable additions made by Al-Hilal, who now lead the Saudi Pro League table.

As revealed earlier, the striker has no injury or problem with the club’s staff, but he continues to remain upset with PIF management and some of the SPL clubs.
According to the rumor, Cristiano Ronaldo will request to leave Al-Nassr during the summer transfer window if significant adjustments are not made.
With a contract with Al-Nassr that expires in June 2027, the Saudi Pro League is determined to cling to their biggest player, but a summer return to Europe may be in the cards.
