Al-Nassr will return to league action tonight after a defeat to Al-Ittihad last time out.
In an attempt to stop their recent decline and rekindle hopes of earning a continental spot for the upcoming season, Al-Nassr, who are in danger of losing out on a top-three finish, travel to relegation-threatened Al Okhdood tonight for game 31 of the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Nassr’s campaign has been slightly derailed by a string of disappointing losses in both the AFC Champions League and the top flight.
After a 3-2 loss to Kawasaki Frontale, they were eliminated from Asia’s top club competition at the semi-final stage. The situation worsened last weekend when Stefano Pioli’s team gave up a two-goal lead in a 3-2 loss to Al Ittihad.
The Riyadh-based team’s season has been a rollercoaster, and their struggle to stay up at the top has left them hanging to fading title dreams, despite a three-game victory streak starting in the spring that briefly reduced the distance at the top to six points.
Al-Nassr, the 2018–19 winners, have little to chase but a spot among the continent’s top teams once again after suffering two defeats in their past four games, putting them 11 points behind with four games remaining.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight?
Although Cristiano Ronaldo is fit and started the last game for Al Nassr, but he was not spotted in the travelling squad for the upcoming match and might miss out on the match.
Yes, Ronaldo will be in the lineup to play tonight. The Portuguese’s hopes of winning a trophy this season seem to be fading away. They are out of the AFC and fifth in the league standings, 14 points adrift of first place.
He will still hope to that his side can get the win and three points as they are currently 5th in the league table and need to start picking up wins as we entre the final stretch of the season.
