The Portuguese has been in upbeat form for Al Nassr.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr entered the match having defeated Damac 2-0 on the road. In their last five games, they have recorded just one defeat.
With 25 points, Al Nassr are presently ranked third in the league standings. It is anticipated that this league title battle will be truly engaging and exciting on the field.
In all competitions this season, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 16 goals and contributed three assists. However, he is currently behind Alekandar Mitrović of Al Hilal, who currently leads the Saudi Pro League scoring table with 11 goals, two goals ahead of Ronaldo.
Ronaldo has only managed to score four goals in the AFC Champions League Elite. The Portuguese forward is working hard to demonstrate his desire for success in international games in an attempt to restore club glory.
Ronaldo was on the scoresheet when he netted twice when his side beat Damac 2-0. He seems to have found his form again at the club level given he has been finding the back of the net regularly now.
On Friday, Al Nassr beat Damac 2-0 and maintained their chances of winning the Saudi Pro League title thanks to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo.
Despite coming to Riyadh in 2022, the Portuguese star has failed to win a major prize. He made sure Al Nassr remained in third place, eight points behind league leaders Al Ittihad. Al Hilal, the reigning champions are in second place.
He will be poised to help Al Nassr continue their winning run in the AFC Champions League elite when they host Al Sadd in the tournament.

Why Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t play against Al Sadd?
Ronaldo was fit to face Al Sadd in the competition but was not included in the squad with Al Nassr already qualified for the next round. Ronaldo could have been handed a rest, with an important part of the season coming up.
The Portuguese forward is yet to win the AFC Champions League since joining the Saudi-based club and hopes to get his hands on the trophy.
Ronaldo’s presence will also be a key factor for Al Nassr as the former Real Madrid striker has now found his form given he endured a goalscoring drought in a few past club matches.
