Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight for Al-Nassr vs Al-Wehda in Saudi Pro League?

Ronaldo’s side suffered a shocking defeat in the last league match.
Al-Nassr’s chances of remaining in the Saudi Pro League title race were dashed on Friday as they lost 3-2 to Al Ettifaq at Al-Awwal Park after giving up two goals in the last eight minutes of play.
Since the 40-year-old striker’s shocking transfer to Saudi Arabia in January 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo’s hopes of winning his first title with Al-Nassr have once again been blown into pieces as they now sit fourth in the league 11 points adrift of first place Al-Ittihad.
Now they are sitting fourth in the table with 44 points from 21 games, three points behind third-place Al Qadsiah. Al-Nassr are aiming to salvage what remains of the league season and advance further in the AFC Champions League qualification spots.
They will next visit Al Wehda for tonight’s game and expect to return home with three points. Wehda is currently bottom of the table, and it should be easy for the visitors to claim all three points.
Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight?
Al-Nassr will be without January signing Jhon Duran, who is presently suspended after receiving a straight red card during the loss to Al-Ettifaq last time out. This highlights only Ronaldo can spearhead the centre-forward line against Al-Wehda tonight.
Ronaldo should be in the lineup to face Al-Wehda tonight as he hopes to make amends after failing to score in their previous game. The Portuguese also had a burst up with the referee when the official showed Duran a red card.
Ronaldo will also be disappointed for not leading his side to a win against Al Ettifaq. A win could have seen them secure third place in the table and kept their title hopes very much alive after Al-Ittihad beat Al-Hilal 4-1. However, they are still in the race but are now 11 points adrift of first place and four points of second place.
