The French star has not been firing on all cylinders for Real Madrid since his summer switch

France’s squad for their November international matches against Italy and Israel was revealed last week. The Les Bleus are second in the table of the UEFA Nations League behind Italy and will hope to wrap up the last international break of the year with wins.

However, following the squad announcement, there were many notable omissions as Didier Deschamps has made a few big calls. One of the massive calls was not calling up the star and the captain of the France side, Kylian Mbappe.

The 25-year-old did not receive a call from the head coach for the second time during the international break, and this has raised concerns over the forward’s issue since his arrival at Real Madrid.

Why Kylian Mbappe will not feature in the November international break?

Mbappé will not play for France during the November international break as the forward was not called up by Deschamps, and it’s now become a big problem as many are considering how the former Paris Saint-Germain forward has remained out of the squad for the second time.

Many speculations say that Mbappe’s relationship with France’s head coach has turned sour and the former AS Monaco player has also suffered mentally because of his performance.

Mbappé has suffered a huge dip in his performance since his signing for Madrid and has netted only eight goals across all competitions this season, and this has been the major cause for his exclusion from the national team squad.

He has also received several criticisms for his inability to make an impact in the white jersey, and now it remains to be seen if he will be able to find his form back when club football returns after two weeks.

Until then, Mbappé will hope to train and continue to rediscover his footing for his dream club, where the forward wanted to move in past years. If he does manage to bounce back from his sluggish play, then he will certainly be in the France squad for the March international break.
