Will Kylian Mbappe play tonight for Real Madrid vs Athletic Club in LaLiga?

Mbappe scored in the previous LaLiga game.
Real Madrid’s LaLiga midweek matchup against Athletic Club at San Mames is a challenging one.
After winning their last three domestic games, Carlo Ancelotti’s team have unexpectedly back in the title race despite not playing at their best. Having played two games less than the leaders, Madrid are currently only four points behind the league leaders after victories over Osasuna, Leganes, and Getafe came amid a Barcelona slump.
Madrid’s loss to Liverpool at Anfield demonstrated their current weaknesses when playing the best, and Wednesday’s match will be their most difficult domestic test since Barca crushed them in the El Clasico.
In their next matchup with Athletic, Real Madrid will look to add more points in their cause of title defence. The visitors are hoping to go 22 straight games away from home without losing since their September 2023 loss to Atletico Madrid.
Will Kylian Mbappe play tonight?
Kylian Mbappe will be playing on Wednesday night when Carlo Ancelotti’s team travel to Athletic Club for a LaLiga match. He hopes to return to his best form soon.
His goal against Getafe will surely help the player find his goalscoring rhythm in the league. For a player who used to score goals every week and is now struggling to find the back of the net has been strange to witness.
His life at Madrid is certainly looking difficult but he will hopefully regain his goalscoring boots and will be the club’s main goal-getter in the near future.
Since completing his much-anticipated summer transfer from PSG to Real Madrid, Mbappe has been the target of criticism for failing to make an instant impact.
The Frenchman was expected to light up LaLiga with his flamboyance and flair, but he hasn’t lived up to the hype yet. After missing a penalty in last week’s 2-0 UEFA Champions League loss to Liverpool, he was criticized once more. The player however will aim to make up for it by adding another decent performance in Madrid’s tonight’s game.
