Why did Matheus Cunha Brentford clash?
After having scans earlier this week, Manchester United forward Matheus Cunha missed tonight’s Premier League match at Old Trafford against Brentford. The Brazilian winger missed some training last week after complaining of a sore hip flexor.
The Manchester United winger played 81 minutes against Chelsea last Saturday, before Mason Mount took his place.
After the game, Matheus Cunha seemed fine, so most Red Devils fans were shocked to learn that he missed tonight’s game.
Since joining the club from Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer, the 26-year-old has been a vital member of the team, scoring eight goals and dishing out two assists in 30 league games this season.
Matheus Cunha will now be hoping he will be fit to face Liverpool on Sunday, despite the forward being forced out of Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Brentford tonight.
