The Brazilian has returned to training after a hamstring injury.

On matchday 15 of the Saudi Pro League, Al-Hilal face Al Fateh. The Role Model are at the bottom, six points outside of safety with only six points from 14 games, while the hosts are at the top with 37 points, slightly ahead of second-place Al Ittihad on goal differential.

Al-Hilal crushed Al Orobah 5-0 at the Al Jouf University Sports Stadium last weekend in a merciless response to a devastating penalty shootout loss in the King’s Cup quarterfinal.

That decisive victory was their 12th victory in 14 league games. In the top division in more than a year, they have just a tie and one loss—a 3-2 defeat to Al Khaleej on November 23, 2024.

The Boss have, in fact, solidified their supremacy in the Saudi Pro League, winning the championship six times in the previous eight seasons, including an undefeated record the previous season.

With their most recent win putting them atop the table due to a better goal differential than Al Ittihad, who faltered in their own game, they are in a strong position to win another title this season. Al-Hilal will now once again hope to sustain their top spot when they play today in the evening with their star players taking on the pitch.

Now that Neymar has recently returned from injury all eyes will be on him as well, but the main question remains will he play tonight?

Will Neymar play tonight?

Neymar will be out of the Al-Hilal game against Al Fateh. He has not been registered by the Saudi club for the league matches as there are a limited number of foreign players who can only be registered in the team for the league games. However, he can appear in other tournaments such as AFC Champions League Elite.

Until then the Brazilian will work on his fitness as he was seen pictured playing in a practice game after suffering a hamstring injury following his return from an ACL injury.
