The Brazilian forward has not been in action since the March international break.

It is now time for Atletico Madrid to be at Riyadh Air Metropolitano as they will now host FC Barcelona, in what is going to be their second leg quarterfinal fixture of the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League.

The Blaugrana underperformed in the home leg and lost the fixture by 0-2. They are down by two goals and they have a mountain to climb going into the second leg. The Hansi Flick-led side consists of capable players who surely can help the Spanish giants make a comeback. It is not going to be an easy outing for them here.

FC Barcelona were reduced to 10 men in the first leg, after Pau Cubarsi received a red card. One of their main defenders is going to be out of action for them. Gerard Martin has been included in the squad, which can be good news for them.

They have strong midfield control and if they combine it well with their attacking front, there’s no stopping them.

Unfortunately, Raphinha has not been included in the travelling squad for FC Barcelona as he is suffering from an hamstring injury.

The 29-year-old has been out of action since the Brazil vs France international friendly during the recent national team break. The estimated recovery time is five weeks.

Raphinha has been an important aspect of the squad for both his club and country, but this time around he is not going to play against Atletico de Madrid in their upcoming UCL outing.

Marcus Rashford, who has scored five goals in the UEFA Champions League this season, is most likely to start in place of the Brazilian forward. Alongside Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski, the Englishman is going to be a constant threat to the opponent’s defence.
