Top five youngsters to watch during Brazil vs Morocco FIFA World Cup 2026 match.

Brazil kick off their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign against Morocco on June 13.

Five-time title winners Brazil will take on African champions Morocco in the FIFA World Cup 2026 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on June 13. After suffering a quarter-final exit at the hands of Croatia at Qatar 2022, the Selecao will look to go a step further in this year’s expanded edition of the tournament.

Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, now the head coach of Brazil, has named a strong 26-man squad. Despite several youngsters like Rodrygo and Estevao missing out due to injuries, the Brazilian squad is full of young talents who are sure to light up the World Cup with “joga bonito”.

The situation is similar for Morocco, who arrive in the tournament as the 2025 AFCON champions. The Atlas Lions have named a relatively young squad, with several young players recently switching their national allegiance to represent the African side.

5. Ayyoub Bouaddi

The Moroccan squad can rightly be called the nation’s golden generation, with several highly rated youngsters. One of the most exciting names is Lille’s 18-year-old midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi. He had a breakthrough season with Lille, making 42 appearances. The France-born player switched allegiance to Morocco before the World Cup, boosting Mohamed Ouahbi’s midfield options.

4. Chemsdine Talbi

Belgium-born Chemsdine Talbi made his Morocco debut in 2025 and has made five appearances for the Atlas Lions. The 21-year-old winger has enjoyed a remarkable season in the English Premier League for Sunderland, with six goal contributions in 30 appearances for the Black Cats. With Hakim Ziyech not in the Moroccan squad, Talbi can make a claim for the wing position in the World Cup.

3. Rayan

Estevao’s injury has opened up a spot in the team for Bournemouth’s exciting prospect Rayan. The Cherries signed the 19-year-old in the winter transfer window as a replacement for Antoine Semenyo, and he has been a revelation since. With seven goals in just 16 appearances for his club, Rayan is a good rotational option for Ancelotti.

2. Bilal El Khannouss

Stuttgart midfielder Bilal El Khannouss is just 22 years old but already has 37 international caps to his name. He has made 44 appearances for the German side, racking up 18 goal contributions. His excellent ball control in the middle of the park will be key for Morocco if they want to make a deep run in the FIFA World Cup 2026.

1. Endrick

After seeing his opportunities limited at Real Madrid, Endrick has been on fire since moving to Lyon on loan. The 19-year-old forward scored eight goals and got eight assists in 24 appearances. He also has four goals for the national side and will be a good option from the bench for the Selecao.
