Man United’s current performances have put doubts on Erik ten Hag’s future

Zinedine Zidane’s desire to join Manchester United is one of the main obstacles standing in the way of the Bundesliga powerhouses’ agreement to hire the Frenchman as manager of Bayern Munich beginning in the upcoming season, according to L’Équipe.

The newspaper has verified previous rumours that Zidane and Bayern are nearing a deal, but even if the German team is very excited about the potential, the three-time Champions League champion manager of Real Madrid has some doubts.

He understands that playing for Bayern would afford him the opportunity to win trophies right away, but he is said to find life in Bavaria and the German language to be a significant barrier. According to L’Équipe, he is instead keeping a close eye on things at Manchester United.

Jean-Claude Blanc of Manchester United is a fan of Zinedine Zidane. Even if Zidane is not fluent in English, INEOS has already expressed interest in seeing him represent the English club as the face of a new era. At the moment, he is more adept at comprehending the dialect than German.

Though Zidane is said to have preferred a transfer to United over Bayern, convincing him may prove difficult given that he undoubtedly would have had offers to return to the board over time.

It is exclusively revealed to GIVEMESPORT by Italian writer Fabrizio Romano that talks with INEOS and the Dutch strategist regarding Ten Hag’s future will take place in the last few weeks of the campaign.

Ten Hag’s likelihood of quitting the team at the end of the season is reportedly rising. Given United’s dismal and uneven performance and the possibility that INEOS wants to invest in their own player, it wouldn’t come as a major surprise.

The Manchester club has underperformed this season, despite the fact that the former Ajax manager qualified for Champions League football and won a Carabao Cup trophy in his first campaign. Ten Hag might be trying out for a long-term role at this point because his chances of landing European football are minimal.
