F2 in India: How and where to watch?
Formula 2 has two Indian drivers in the 2023 grid.
Formula 1 sure is the hottest racing series in the world. But there is a platform where the finest crops are cultivated - the highest of which is Formula 2. And Formula 2 or F2 in India has seen a rapid rise in popularity.
Formula 2 is recognised as the highest feeder series of Formula 1 and it has given some fine racers over the years - even when it was GP2.
What might appeal to the Indian viewers the most is having two of their most talented racers on the grid. This is Jehan Daruvala's fourth year in the tier whereas Kush Maini is having his rookie season. Daruvala will be driving the defending champions MP Motorsports' 2023 challenger alongside his teammate for the second-year-running Dennis Hauger. While Maini will drive for the Spanish side Campos Racing. He will be driving alongside Ralph Boschung.
You can check the schedules of these channels to find out when the races are being broadcasted. You can try subscribing to the official Formula 2 streaming service, F1 TV, which provides live streaming of all the races, as well as other exclusive content of the F1 and F2 in India.
Formula 1 launched F1 TV in India this year in order to expand its reach. It has extensive coverage of F2 in India, especially with a running documentary called "Chasing the Dreams".
Unlike Formula 1, the streaming rights for Formula 2 still have an owner in the country, which is Discovery+. The annual subscription rate of 399 INR is much cheaper than F1 TV Pro.
As Eurosport is a part of the Discovery family, it will televise the events. Other motorsport contents in the channel include MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, and DTM.
