Formula 1: Updated F1 Spanish GP 2023 schedule and timings
By Khel Now
This will be the seventh race of the F1 2023 season and only the second in Europe so far.
Formula 1 will be gearing up for another race weekend at Spanish GP 2023. Two-time world champion, Max Verstappen won the last race at Monaco GP and currently leads the Driver’s Standings.
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will have a change in the layout this time, as the last sector in the track (turn 14 & 15) has been removed for this year’s race, since its introduction in 2007. This will be the seventh race of the season, which will take place over 66 laps of a 4.65-kilometer track at Barcelona.

Circuit de Barcelona is the oldest racing track in the world. At this same venue defending champion Max Verstappen won his first race in 2016. Veteran driver, Fernando Alonso last won the race in 2013 at Spanish GP, while in this season with Aston Martin, the Spaniard has five podium finishes, surely this track will be his best chance to break his drought of more than a decade.
Sergio Perez after the disappointment in the last race, will indeed be looking to go past his Red Bull teammate Verstappen. Whereas Mercedes will be looking to move up the order at Spanish GP 2023.
