Kimi Antonelli is all set to become the youngest World Champion in Formula 1.

Round 19 of F1‘s 2026 season is underway with the Mexico Grand Prix at the  Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, Mexico. Following the conclusion of Qualifying on Saturday, attention will shift to Sunday’s race, which could prove historic for both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships.

Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli is on the verge of securing his maiden Drivers’ Championship and becoming the youngest world champion, a record currently held by Sebastian Vettel. Kimi will secure the title if he finishes ninth or higher.

Alternatively, he can become champion if neither George Russell nor Lewis Hamilton wins the race. If Antonelli finishes outside the points, he will need both of his closest rivals in the standings to miss out on victory.

On the other hand, Mercedes also have an opportunity to wrap up the Constructors’ Championship in Mexico City. Leading Ferrari by 133 points, the Silver Arrows must outscore their rivals by at least 39 points this weekend to return to the top spot for the first time since 2021.

Before the race, let us take a look at the weather forecast and the start time for Sunday in the USA, UK, India, Singapore, and around the globe.
