The Chinese Grand Prix 2025 is here as the Shanghai International Circuit continues its tradition of delivering thrilling race actions. Formula 1 fans are already bustling with excitement to see who will take the top spot this year.  

This year’s weekend race is already producing some fireworks. Lewis Hamilton, after a disappointing race in Australia, has claimed his first victory for Ferrari, securing Saturday’s Sprint Victory from pole position. 

He fought off an early challenge from Max Verstappen before Oscar Piastri overtook the Red Bull driver for second place, pushing Verstappen to the third. While Verstappen and Piastri rounded out the podium, Lando Norris had a rough time, finishing eighth after going off track at turn 6.

Since the debut of the Chinese GP in 2004, the destination has seen dramatic title-defining moments, surprise victories, and dominant performances from some of F1’s greatest drivers. From Rubens Barrichello’s historic win in the inaugural event to Lewis Hamilton’s record-breaking six victories, the Shanghai International Circuit has been a stage for legends.
