The 2025 Formula 1 season starts from March 14
While the 2024 Formula 1 grid did not experience much shuffling compared to 2023, it is not wrong to say that the upcoming 2025 grid will be a bold leap into the unknown.
With one of the most significant transfers in F1 history when Lewis Hamilton transferred to Ferrari, the 2025 season will probably rewrite the whole motorsport with a single stroke.
However, Hamilton’s shift isn’t the only notable transfer that will shuffle the grid. We will also have Liam Lawson moving up to Red Bull, replacing Sergio Perez for the upcoming 2025 season.
This shuffling at Red Bull finally brought a week of changes to a dead end. This means the Red Bull fandom will not be able to witness Sergio Perez in action in 2025, despite him having a contract with Red Bull till 2026.
Let us have a look at the final 2025 F1 grid with all the shuffling.

Following a disappointing performance in the 2024 season, Sergio Perez scored just two points in his final five races. This put Red Bull’s bid for the constructors’ title on the line.
Hence in Perez’s place, Red Bull has promoted Liam Lawson from Racing Bulls after his impressive performance when he replaced Daniel Ricciardo mid-season. Now Liam has secured a spot alongside Max Verstappen who remains under contract till 2028.
