BGMI Masters Series 2023: Schedule, format, prize pool, teams & telecast
The BGMI Masters Series 2023 is all set to kick off on 4th, August 2023 at Nodwing Studio, Delhi.
The esports has completely evolved in India with the BGMI playing a significant role in its rise. The excitement for the esports extravaganza is pulping around the teams and fans with the anticipation reaching its corner.
Following the success of the first season, the new season of the BGMI Masters Series is all set to commence in a grand form. The all-new format, younger and new players, and the highest-ever prize pool amount all will gear up for the intense battlegrounds and heart-pounding actions.

BGMI Master series Schedule, Date, and Format
Round Dates
Opening Rumble August 4-6
Qualification Week August 7-10
Super Weekend August 11-13
Elimination Week August 14-17
Super Weekend II August 18-20
Playoffs August 22-23
Grand Finals August 24-27
The Master Series will have little over three weeks of intense battlegrounds with a total of seven rounds and the Grand Finals scheduled on Sunday, August 27.
The Launch Week
- To be held between 4-6 August 2023
- Each of the 24 teams is divided equally into 3 groups of 8 teams.
- The games will be held in a Round-Robin format.
- The points that would be accumulated in the Launch week by the teams will add to the overall leaderboard.
The First Week
The League
-To be held between 7th-10th August 2023.
-24 teams are divided equally into 3 groups of 8 teams
-Games will be held for four days in the Round-Robin format.
-The Top 16 teams will qualify for the Week 1 final round.
Week 1 Finals
-To be held between 11th-13th August 2023.
-The 16 Qualified teams will play for the three match days.
-As per the overall leaderboard, the top 4 teams of the 1-week finals will directly qualify for week 2 finals though they will still play Week 2 League.
The Second Week
The League
-To be held between 14th – 17th August 2023.
-24 teams are divided equally into 3 groups of 8 teams
-Games will be held for four days in the Round-Robin format.
-The Top 12 teams along with the top 4 of Week 1 will qualify for the Week 2 final round.
Week 2 Finals
-To be held between 18th – 20th August ,2023.
-The matches will be held between 16 teams for 3 match days.
-Points will be added to the overall leaderboard.
After the Week 2 Finals, the top four teams will directly qualify for Grand Finals. The playoff will be held between 5th to 20th rank teams in the overall final leaderboard. The bottom four teams will be eliminated and the Grand Finals will be held with remaining teams.
Teams to watch out for
Generally in BGMI esports competition, only one point per fresher is permitted. But this season the tournament organizers are breaking the norm by having two-point freshmen. According to Nodwin Gaming, this could add much excitement to the game.
The registration for the series started from 24th July to 2nd August 2023. The teams who had completed the six-round journey and had qualified will add up to a total of 24 featuring teams for the series. Nodwin Gaming has invited 14 teams and 10 Qualified teams from TVS Wicked Raider Qualifiers.
A total of 24 teams will be participating in the BGMI Master Series Season 2.

Highest-ever Prize Pool
According to Nodwin Gaming, the prize money for the champions has been increased from ₹1.5 Crore to a grand sum of ₹2.1 Crore. This makes the BGMI Master series the highest-ever pool-price esports tournament in India so far.
When and Where will the BGMI Master series take place?
The BGMI Master series will start on 4th August 2023 at 9:30 PM (IST) in the Nodwin studio, Delhi in the offline format.
Where and how to watch BGMI Mater Series 2023 in India?
The match will be streamed live online in Rooter and telecasted live on Star Sports Network (Stars Sports 1 and Star Sports 2).
