Area-denial ability is amazing
In Apex Legends season 25, the new legend has finally been introduced. His name is Sparrow, and he will arrive on May 6, 2025.
He is a recon-class archer who is known for his agility and precision. His skillset and abilities are surely going to shake up the meta in season 25.
Sparrow’s abilities breakdown
Passive: Double Jump
Now his double jump lets him press jump mid-air for a second leap, which is very good for his mobility.
While climbing, pressing Jump sends him up walls for a quick height advantage. He also carries extra arrows and explosive arrows for the Bocek bow, which improves his effectiveness with this weapon.
Now, with his passive ability, he is a very good option for flanking and quickly escaping when the situation becomes serious.

Tactical: Tracker Dart
This is fired from his gauntlet, which sticks to the surface and reveals enemies within its line of sight.
Marked opponents leave a visible trail through barriers, with distance markers for those more than 40 meters away.
Darts can also remotely trigger Survey Beacons, making him an excellent Recon Legend for gathering intelligence and planning ambushes.
Ultimate: Stinger Bolt
Sparrow’s ultimate: Stinger bolt fires a large arrow that anchors on impact. After charging, it emits electric pulses that damage and slow foes within its range.
Opponents can respond by seeking cover, leaving the zone, or destroying the arrow. This is pretty good for disrupting the enemy push and controlling the space.
Legend upgrades
Level 2 Upgrades:
- Extra Traps: Includes one tactical charge and two additional darts throughout the world.
- Hunt targets: Sparrow gets a speed boost when chasing tagged foes.
Level 3 Upgrades:
- Alternate Mode: Ultimate gains three charges using smaller, fewer pulses.
- Life Siphon: When Sparrow’s Ultimate damages foes, it restores his health and shields.
Playstyle and how to play
Now, this new agent thrives on flanking and annoying the enemies. His Double Jump and wall-climbing abilities allow you to outmaneuver enemies or flee danger.
Use Tracker Dart to locate enemy positions and track their movements through walls for planned attacks.
Use Stinger Bolt to close chokepoints or flush adversaries from cover, and pair it with Bocek’s explosive arrows for maximum effect.
Combining these skills allows Sparrow to wipe out squads quickly, making him a meta-defining force.
