The fans are pretty excited as the Apex Legends Season 25 is almost here, which promises to provide new content in the game.

It is scheduled to release on May 6, 2025 and will introduce a new legend, Sparrow, with more exciting updates in the game.

Apex Legends Season 25 will start from May 6, 2025, immediately after the current season ends, which started in February 2025.

There will be a little brief downtime between the start and the ranked is supposed to start within a few hours.

A leaked trailer, released on X by trusted leaker Osvaldatore, provides a glimpse at the season’s content, including Sparrow’s powers.

EA officially released the trailer on April 28, 2025, as revealed on the Apex Legends X account, to generate excitement for the upcoming season.

Meet Sparrow: The New Legend

Apex Legends Season 25 will introduce a new legend, Sparrow. This is the first new legend introduced since Alter debuted in Season 21 (May 2024).

Following Alter’s debut, Respawn prioritized reworks, such as Lifeline’s upgrade in Season 23, over new characters.

Sparrow, formerly called Artemis and Belva, represents a return to new faces on the team.

According to leaked information, Sparrow is a Recon-class Legend that specializes in tracking down foes to improve team cohesion.

Sparrow kit centred around the arrows, as seen in the leaked trailer. According to another leaker, HYPERMYST, her arrows scan enemies on direct hits.

They can also zap enemies nearby when they miss. This could potentially disrupt the enemy squad.

There’s also talk about a mechanism for switching arrow kinds, with some arrows seen launching grenades for explosive effects. Her skills include:

• Passive: Sonar-based sensing that visually highlights enemy sounds.
• Tactical: A trap that reduces movement speed and may result in bleeding or silence.
• The ultimate weapon is a crossbow (Scorpion C80) that fires charged projectiles and may deal significant damage.
• Sparrow’s background connects her to Vantage through her mother, Zena, bringing depth to her character with a knight-themed look.
