New season is just around the corner

The whole community and fandom is excited for the Apex Legends season 24. Despite not getting any new heroes of maps, the developers are going to focus more on core gameplay, new features and balance updates.

For now, some early patch notes have been released for the upcoming season and full patch notes will be out by February 10, 2025. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Early patch notes for Apex Legends season 24

Here is everything that you need to know about the upcoming patch notes:

Assault Class Redesign

New Perks: The “Battle Surge” perk allows players to gain a momentary speed boost, faster reloads, and enemy highlights after breaking an opponent’s shield.
Inventory Changes: New grenade slots and an auto-reload feature similar to the Gold Magazines are poised to alter how assault legends approach combat.

Armor and Helmets Revamp

Helmet Removal: White, Blue, and Purple helmets are no longer available for reducing headshot damage.
The Gold Helmet now grants double healing, while the new Red Helmet provides an additional 125 HP, making it the only way to obtain Red Armor this season.

Weapon Balance Changes

Assault Rifles: Increased damage across the board, particularly for the R-301, Flatline, and Hemlok.
SMGs, LMGs, Marksman, and Snipers: From the CAR SMG to the Kraber.With 50-Cal, each weapon’s damage increases.
Shotguns and pistols: Weapons such as the Peacekeeper and Wingman now deal more damage.

Weapon Arsenals and Legend adjustments in Apex Legends

Custom Loadouts: Players can now select their preferred weapon directly from these arsenals based on ammo type, minimizing randomness in looting and adding strategy to landing areas.
Buffs for Ash and Ballistic have been announced, which will improve their combat abilities.

Other Notable Changes

Healing Items: Syringes and Cells can now stack to 6 and are faster to use.
Player Movement: Crawl speed when knocked has been greatly improved, providing players a better chance of escaping or being resurrected in Apex Legends.
