ARC Raiders cheating crisis: Nadeshot calls 'Worse than COD' & Shroud threatens to quit

First it was trigger nades, now it’s cheaters!

The new & hot PvPvE extraction shooter from Embark Studios, ARC Raiders, is now catching a lot of heat from the streamers and gamers on social media.

The game has had massive cheating problems since its release. Top streamers like Nadeshot, Shroud, and Ninja have publicly ranted about this problem on X and on their streams. Nadeshot even claims that this is even worse than Call of Duty.

Streamers rant on Cheaters in ARC Raiders

The cheaters’ problem has been going on for a very long time. However, it was Nadeshot who started the long rant about it by posting his views about the problem on X.

“The egregious amount of cheating genuinely might be worse than peak Call of Duty… I cannot get through an entire raid without a Steam profile that is level 0 or an account that has multiple game bans.”

He also vented about the endless loot wipes after 8-hour sessions and urged Embark Studios to act like Epic Games, to find and sue the cheat providers.

Shroud has also vented out his disappointment with the cheating condition. He claimed that “50% of each lobby is cheating” and “Embark has zero control over their game.”

He is already playing Tarkov until Embark fixes these issues. He has called playing ARC Raiders right now is just a waste of time for him and he might quit this game if Embark doesn’t take some serious action.

Ninja has also been fed up with all the stream snipers, wall glitchers and cheaters constantly trying to ruin the game. He also begged that he wants to see this game for a more casual friendly scenario, instead of focusing on the Pro scenario.

All the issues will drive away the top players and streamers from the game and will kill the potential of the game.

The most cheater crises are happening on the PC platforms. We are playing this game on console and haven’t faced any cheaters till now. Plus, they are famous streamers, so naturally, the cheaters will try to focus on them while they are streaming the game.

Also, Real-money trade (RMT) for blueprints and unique gear is thriving, attracting hackers to PvP hotspots like Stella Montis. Wallhacks, aimbots, and nade exploits plague high-MMR lobbies, affecting aggressive players the most.

The Embark Studios team and devs were currently on holiday. They have already started returning the items to players who died to cheaters in-game. They have also said the patches are going to arrive very soon to deal with this situation.
