Design lead Virgil Watkins has recently revealed more details about the future roadmap in 2026 in an interview with GamesRadar+. Fans can expect multiple maps drop, spanning “a spectrum of size” for diverse gameplay & more.
New ARC Raiders maps with fresh experiences
Fans can easily expect compact arenas for intense scraps alongside sprawling worlds, more bigger than the current ones. It won’t be lazy or bland maps; all new maps and zones will come with unique twists:
- Weather and climate can change how people play.
- New opponent types/compositions.
- Increased treasure tiers for high-risk prizes.
Imagine Toxic Swamp (new datamined) coming with air purifier mechanics. Each map is expected to aim at thematic cohesion. Every single thing will matter while you are on a raid in these zones.
