Embark Studios drops the hammer on cheaters

Fans, players and big streamers have all been frustrated with a lot of hackers, cheaters and exploiters in ARC Raiders. This extraction shooter might be the best thing out there; however, cheaters are ruining the experience for everyone.

After spending the winter holidays, Embark Studios has started to drop the big hammers on these cheaters. The bans have started to roll out, with a serious warning issued by Embark. Let’s check out more details in this article.

ARC Raiders bans: 30-day suspension & permanent hardware ban

Embark Studios has officially begun to crack down on cheaters in ARC Raiders, with several players reporting bans for exploits, aimbots, ESP, and other infractions of the game’s code of conduct.

Players have started to share screenshots of the temporary bans they have received in the game. The most common suspension lasts for 30 days.

Repeat offenders and users of multiple exploits can face harsher penalties, which also include hardware bans.

The move has been largely welcomed by the community, especially as worries emerged over respawn exploits and console command abuse, which allow players to rejoin the same rooms after death.

Final Thoughts

Embark Studio dropping the ban hammer has been warmly welcomed by the players and communities. Big streamers like Nadeshot, Ninja, Shroud, BurntPeanut and others would be happy as well.

However, fans want Embark not to be lenient with the cheaters. In the comments section and forums, they are saying that the studio should give 30-day bans for the first offense and a hardware ban if they do it again.

Some are even asking for hardware bans for cheaters without giving them any warning. What are your thoughts on how Embark Studios is handling the cheaters’ problem in ARC Raiders? Do share your thoughts and views with us in the comments section.
