The limited demo of Armatus will start from February 23, 2026, and will last until March 2, 2026, as part of Steam Next Fest.
The sign-up to access the demo will start from February 20, 2026, at 10 AM PST. Some of the participants might also receive access to the full game before the release. You can sign up from the official game Steam page. There are also chances for yet another demo potentially coming in the next few months.

What to expect?
According to the developer’s Steam Community update, the upcoming demo will let players experience a wide variety of weapons, upgrades and celestial abilities.
Enjoy SMGs, shotguns, and other firearms while battling the demonic enemies. True to its roguelike structure, the basic gameplay cycle is around battling, dying, resurrecting, and experimenting with new builds to find powerful combos.
The exact runtime for the demo has not been revealed yet. But players will get a chance to encounter a boss monster known as The Monument.
This will provide you with ample playtime for the demo to test the gameplay, challenges, combat and more.
Armatus is scheduled to release later this year on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The demo is absolutely free, so make sure to try it out on Steam.
