The remake is all set to launch on July 9, 2026

Ubisoft has now finally revealed the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced remake, which is officially set to launch on July 9, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.

Players are going to see a massive upgrade in visuals, game mechanics and even the story. Unlike a simple remaster, this remake has been built from the ground up on the latest Anvil Engine.

It also introduces advanced features such as Ray Tracing Global Illumination (RTGI), ray-traced reflections, improved water physics, and modern rendering pipelines, including PBR and micropolygon technology.

Console performance modes for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced

For the console players, Ubisoft is offering multiple graphical options:

  • Performance Mode: 60 FPS
  • Quality Mode: 30 FPS (with enhanced ray tracing)
  • Balanced Mode: 40 FPS (requires 120Hz display)

The best part for the PlayStation 5 players is that RTGI will remain active across all modes.
