Battlefield 6 Beta sees 330,000+ cheating attempts blocked by EA's Javelin

EA’s and DICE’s Battlefield 6 open beta has started and we have already seen many cheaters in the game. Their clips are going viral right now on Reddit and Twitter.

In a recent report published on official EA forums, it was revealed that EA’s Javelin anti-cheat engine has blocked 330,000 cheating attempts. Let’s find out more details in this article.

EA’s Javeline cheat engine

Battlefield 6 Beta, which started this month, has already seen many cheating attempts in the open beta itself. Many clips and videos are already surfacing on social media platforms.

The Spear Team, which is managing the Javelin anti-cheat engine, has reassured that everything is under control. Many attempts have been blocked and whoever gets past is getting banned.

In an EA forum report, they revealed:

• 330,000+ Blocked Attempts: Javelin stopped cheats and anti-cheat tampering.
• Community Reports: Players flagged 44,000 cheaters on day one and 60,000 more so far, per IGN.

This also reassures the fans that EA is focused and working pretty hard to fight against the hackers and cheaters.

Thoughts

It’s pretty crazy to see that some people are even trying to cheat and use hacks in the open beta of the game. This is literally pointless. There is no rank system, and the game is in beta. There is even no point in using hacks.

But I guess, some people can’t use their mouse properly to aim, so they would stoop this low. I am pretty happy to see that EA and their cheat engine are working fine and blocking cheating and hacking attempts.

This would maintain the safe and fair play environments once the game is launched officially. Nobody likes it when there is a hacker in the lobby, and they ruin the fun for everyone.
