Time to go on the battlefield
One of the Battlefield franchise’s most distinctive features for a long time has been its class structure, which distinguishes it from competitors like Call of Duty, where players create unique loadouts using meta gear.
DICE maintains order in Battlefield by providing a small number of classes catered to particular playstyles. Early leaks from the Battlefield Labs pre-alpha give us a preview of Battlefield 6, which is scheduled for release in 2025.
Classic Four Return
Battlefield 6 continues to use the four well-known classes of Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon, according to leaked gameplay footage. These are similar to the lineup in Battlefield 2042 and most of the franchise’s games, with the exception of Battlefield 1, which introduced unusual positions like Cavalry and Pilot.
Although the Labs test is merely a preliminary assessment, it provides insight into the path for the final release, albeit adjustments may still be necessary.

Assault
When it comes to close-to-mid-range combat with automatic weapons, the Assault class is your go-to infantry powerhouse. Designed to be aggressive, they charge into battle and kill opponents with accuracy.
Their adaptability makes them a mainstay for gamers that enjoy an all-around offensive strategy, even if they have limited self-healing.
Engineer
The technological aspects of warfare are ideal for engineers. They are responsible for repairing allied vehicles and using specialized equipment to inflict devastation on opposing tanks.
This class offers a mechanical advantage that is just as effective as any gun on the battlefield, whether it is fixing a damaged helicopter or sabotaging adversaries.
Support
The unsung heroes of the game are support players, who go over the battlefield to tend to and replenish teammates. Equipped with equipment to keep the squad provisioned and disrupt adversaries, they are essential for long-term battles. This is your role if you like maintaining the team’s peak performance.
Recon
Recon is the best option for people who value accuracy and stealth. Equipped with sniper rifles, they identify risks for the team and take out targets from a distance. It is the best class for tactical intelligence and long-range dominance in Battlefield 6.
