Battlefield 4 vibes and throwback
The closed playtest for Battlefield 6 has recently been kicked off, and there are already some leaks going on on the internet. Participants couldn’t hold and started to spill the beans about the game.
Consider Battlefield 4 (or, dare I say, Battlefield 3) vigor, with a back-to-basics feel that might herald a victorious return to the franchise’s golden age. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Battlefield’s glory days
There is no doubt that this franchise has not been the same as the past games. Battlefield 1 was the best seller in 2016 for the franchise; after that, the series started to go downhill. Not even talk about Battlefield 5 and Battlefield 2042.
However, recent Battlefield 6 leaks from Battlefield Labs playtests are turning the tables, and fans are quite excited.

What do the leaks reveal?
According to leaks on the internet, the new upcoming game pretty much gives similar vibes to Battlefield 3 and 4. We’re talking about a modern-day warzone with vintage infantry, vehicles, and terrain reminiscent of old Battlefield games. Leaked excerpts reveal:
- Traditional Warfare: No futuristic gimmicks, just boots-on-the-ground devastation using familiar weapons.
- Clean UI: A slick, minimalist interface reminiscent of the franchise’s greatest years.
- Destruction: The signature Battlefield havoc—walls collapsing, landscapes shredded.
- Class System: There are hints that popular squad positions will return.
- Action Overload: Fast, gritty firefights reminiscent of 2013’s glory days.
Battlefield 3 (2011) and Battlefield 4 (2013) could be considered as one of the best games in the franchise. Seeing Battlefield 6 going for the same old vibes is great news for the OG fans and the playerbase who loves this franchise so much.
A complete package—campaign, multiplayer, and possibly some bonus modes—could recover the crown from competitors such as Call of Duty. It’s been too long since Battlefield dominated the first-person shooter scene, and these leaks scream redemption. I am very excited and looking forward to Battlefield 6.
