Only one month is left for the new COD Black Ops 6 to be released and to celebrate that, we should discuss some of the best Call of Duty games that have been made so far.

This franchise has produced some of the best first-person story campaigns and co-op options throughout history. This list will be based on the story campaigns, personal opinions and fan reviews.

5. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

Many fans weren’t liking the story campaign and they strongly believed that COD was going downhill. However, COD: Black Ops 2 was a still better game that had a pretty interesting story campaign mode. Although this game was not as good as the old COD, it was still better than the other ones.

4. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

The old classic COD from 2007, which was set in a modern-day setting. Looking back on the old days, we can easily say that this deserves to be one of the best Call of Duty games. Not only in gameplay, but it even feels so good when you play the co-op mode.

In terms of Call of Duty multiplayer, Modern Warfare III is among the greatest we’ve had in recent memory. More maps than ever before, with constant updates and events. The story campaign with so many chaotic missions was also the best point that makes MW 3 one of the best Call of Duty games.

A pure cinematic story campaign mode which makes this game one of the best. Introduction of a new game mode and also one of the best zombie modes in the COD.

My personal favorite and the best story campaign with a well-written story and characters. Although this game is not perfect in other modes, it does a hell of a job in the campaign.
