Some of the most iconic cars from Grand Theft Auto games
The hype of GTA 6 is slowly rising with the rumors around new trailer 2 which might drop in the upcoming months. The GTA series always has some of the best and crazy missions in video games that have ever seen. The same can be said when it comes to cars in the games.
In this article, we will talk about some of the best and most iconic cars that were present in the Grand Theft Auto series.
8. GTA II Stinger
The Stinger made its debut in 1997 and reappeared in GTA II with styling reminiscent of a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. It would go through more makeovers than Gok Wan over the years, morphing into a Ferrari 365 GTB4 Daytona for Vice City and taking on a more Dino appearance with numbers IV and V. You can easily get away from the police chase if you can drive it well.

7. Cossie 1997
The Cossie speaks to the game’s origins, in a tiny studio space above a fish and chip shop in Dundee. It’s a visiting ambassador of hot hatch culture, in a world of hot rods and yellow cabs. This car was one of the best cars from the original and first Grand Theft Auto game.
6. The Green Sabre: San Andreas
There is no way we can forget about the famous and iconic Green Sabre from San Andreas. San Andreas was a story about West Coast gangs immersed in ’90s hip-hop culture, thus it stands to reason that the vehicles most associated with it are lowriders. A very good and stylish car, however not good if you have cops running behind your tail.

5. Mafia Sentinel from GTA III
Every GTA game was perfect and the same goes for the GTA III. The Mafia Sentinel was one of my favorite cars in the game. It’s an excellent combination of nimble and durable against incoming gunfire for the Leone plot, in which you transport a psychotic and completely legitimate businessman about town.
The intimidating front radiator grille and blackout appearance complete the effect. The Sentinel is the workhorse of the petty criminal, though there are faster, more exotic models on the streets.
4. Infernus from Vice City
San Andreas and Vice City are my favorite games from the GTA series, so I can’t forget about the Infernus and his speed. It is noted for its sleek look and high performance, which are similar to real-world sports automobiles such as the Lamborghini Countach.
The Infernus features a striking wedge-shaped form, which is reminiscent of many sports cars from the 1980s, when “Vice City” takes place. It is most commonly found in white, although it can also exist in different colors.
The Infernus is one of the fastest cars, with exceptional speed and acceleration. However, because of its rear-wheel drive, its handling can be challenging, particularly at high speeds.
3. Roman’s Albany Esperanto
Specifically resembling the Cadillac Coupe DeVille or other huge coupes from that era, the Albany Esperanto in “Grand Theft Auto IV” is a vehicle that matches the design of American muscle automobiles from the late 1970s to early 1980s.
The Esperanto is a huge two-door coupe with a boxy body. It is frequently seen in maroon or dark crimson, the color of Roman’s personal Esperanto.
Roman Bellic famously uses Esperanto in his cab business. Players frequently see or use this car early in the game, as Roman is one of the first persons with whom Niko Bellic interacts significantly.
2. Grotti Cheetah from GTA V
This is one of the game’s supercars, heavily inspired by real-world Italian sports cars, primarily the Ferrari Enzo, but with aspects similar to other vehicles such as the Pagani Zonda.
The Cheetah has a sleek, aerodynamic design that includes a low profile, retractable spoiler, and distinct front and rear fascias. It’s one of GTA V’s most visually stunning cars, frequently appearing in red or other bright colors.
The Cheetah is one of the fastest cars in GTA V, with impressive top speed and acceleration, making it suitable for gamers who want to race or get out of trouble quickly.
1. GTA 6: Banshee
From the GTA 6 trailer, it appears that fans might get Banshee in the upcoming game. This car will represent the spirit of sports automobiles with its sleek, aggressive style.
Given current automobile design trends and game graphics developments, expect much more detailed aerodynamics, maybe with active aerodynamic features, futuristic LED lighting, and a design that combines traditional sports car aspects with modern or even slightly future looks.
