Codemasters Birmingham delivered one of the best F1 games, which was even better than Formula 2016. This game’s carrier mode can put any other sports game to shame. From this game, many things changed for the Formula One games. It was not about just driving fast; the game started to put more focus on the development of your cars, maintenance, tires and more.

F1 2020 was the last game that was developed by Codemaster and it was a thing of beauty. There were many modes in this game, along with classic old F1 cars and drivers as well. The sales of these games were incredible, and the feel of driving the F1 car simulation was even better than the other F1 games.

Here comes one of the best old gems in the racing games. Visual Science and Image Space Incorporated developed this hardcore F1 racing simulation game. For the old-generation games, the graphics and controls were truly good, but the difficulty level and AI level for drivers were just perfect. In this game, winning the race was not that easy.

A true gem and one of the best F1 games made by the Codemasters. This game also introduced the driver swaps feature in this franchise, which has many effects in the career mode. Even Formula 2 and cars were added and truly provide a great challenge in the career mode to earn your way to the F1.

Another great old classic F1 game that truly deserves the number one spot on the list. Both single-player and multiplayer modes were really fun to play, along with many different mods that keep adding on to make this game more enjoyable.
