Fans have been waiting for a long time to get the next Starfield DLC, and it appears that Bethesda Game Studios has finally started teasing it for the fans.

Shattered Space was the first DLC expansion for the game, which was pre-launched in September 2023 and hit shelves in September 2024. The impact, however, didn’t last long.

After a year, there is still no information about the next chapter. There were many game events, shows, and interviews where the studio could have revealed something, but they are still staying silent.

The most recent hint came during a developer spotlight featuring Tim Lamb, a Bethesda veteran since 2006.

According to Insider Gaming, in the interview’s closing moments, Lamb shared:

“I’m thrilled for players to see what the team’s been crafting for Starfield. We’ve got exciting free updates and features fans have requested, plus a new DLC story. I can’t dive into details yet, but part of the team is enhancing space gameplay to make exploration more rewarding.”

This aligns with Todd Howard’s June 2024 confirmation on the next Starfield DLC. There are many plans that the studios have and can’t wait to reveal. Fans speculate the new reveal possibility in the month of September 2025.
