Get ready for more BGMI action

Krafton has finally revealed the first half of the BGMI Esports 2025 season, setting the stage for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) and Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS).

The prize pool for both of these tournaments is going to be ₹2 crores each which is crazy. Just to remind you, both major tournaments previously were won by Team XSpark. Let’s check out more details in this article.

BGIS 2025 registration details

Mark your calendars! Registration for the BGIS 2025 begins on January 3, 2025, at the official Krafton India Esports website. Participants may find all of the information they need here, including eligibility criteria, tournament rules, and competition structure. Everyone can participate in this and this might be the chance for you to make your name known in the Indian Esports community.

Host City and prize pool

This time, Kolkata, West Bengal, has been chosen to host the Grand Finals of BGIS 2025. The fans there are excited for another return of esports events. According to Karan Pathak, Krafton India’s Associate Director, this event marks the start of what looks to be a fantastic year for BGMI esports.

The information on the second half of the BGMI roadmap 2025 will be revealed at the Kolkata LAN finals which promises more thrilling competition for the esports players. The event will have a whopping â‚ą2 crores as a prize pool.

What’s next after BGIS 2025?

After the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series, we will have Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS). This will be an invitational tournament where teams will be invited to compete with each other for â‚ą2 crores as a prize pool.

In the current BGMI Esports scene, many professional esports teams are currently playing a third-party tournament, “Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6,” which has a ₹1 crore prize pool. This tournament will end on February 2, 2025.
